Construction and Features of Trunnion BallValve

Urgent Grease Injection Device

According to customers'requirement,the trunnion ball valves madeby company are providedwith devices for urgentgrease injection,whichare on both the stem and seat for the trunnlon ball valves of DN150mm(NPS6),and in the body cavity for the valve of DN<125mm.When the o-ring of stem or the body seat ring is damaged due to accident,the mediumleakage between body and stem can be prevented by injecting the sealinggrease through the device.

Blow-out Proof Stem

Blow-out proofstructure is provited with for the stem,which is positionedby the up-end cap and screw,being guaranteed not to be blown-out bythe medium even if at abnormal risen pressurein the cavity.

Fire Safe Design

With the valve heated in a fire application,the nonmetal material partssuch as seat sealing ring of PTFE,O-ring for the stem,and sealing gasketfor body and bonnet,might be damaged due to high temperature.BAOYI'sspecial design of auxiliary metal to metal or the graphite seal is provitedfor the trunnion ball valve to effectively prevent both internal and externalleakage of the valve.As required by customers,BAOYI's fire safe designfor the trunnion ball valve meets the requirement of API 607,API 6Fa,BS6755and JB/T6899.

Anti-static Design

By anti-static design,the bell,stem and body of the trunnion mountedball valve forms a static channel through which the static electricity causedn the switching process of ball and body will be guide to the ground.Thust can prevent the valve from the potentialfire and exploslon risk

Fluid pressure,both upstream and downstream,creates a resultantthrust that pushes the seat rings against the ball.

Fluid pressure acting in the body cavity oreates aresultant thrustthatpushes the seat rings away from the ball.

The single piston design permits the automatic release of any overpressure in the body cavity when the valve is in the fully open or fullyclosed position,therefore the seat rings are'self-relieving'.

Optional Double Piston Effect

Fluid pressure,both upstream and down-stream,as well as in thebody cavity creates a resultant thrust that pushes the seat rings towardsthe ball.

Valves with double piston effect seat rings require arelief valvein order to reduce the build-up of over pressure in the body cavity.

Mounting Pad Provided

Has provided for trunnion ball valve with amounting pad for fixingthe actuators,such as worm gear,pneumatic,electric,hydraulic,andpneumatic &hydraulic acturtors.
